The strength of the bin comes from the V frames under the floor that connect to the vertical stiffeners and the cross pipes.

Full length clean out doors which are hinged (Not a slide out system) This hinged system greatly reduced the risk of jamming making the bin very easy to clean out.

The removable back plate allows for easy maintenance and bearing replacement.

All Grain King Chaser Bins are fitted with hydraulic drum brakes as standard. These can be operated in conjunction with the tractor’s brake system if it is fitted with a brake kit. Brakes can be used through a normal remote when tractor does not have brake kit. The system is self releasing and will only be activated whilst hand remote is engaged. Does not act as a park brake.

The Grain King tandem axle system is very unique because of it leaf sprung design. This system includes a self steering rear axle and brakes on all four wheels. Currently no other major Chaser Bin manufacturers are using this system. The main advantage of the Grain King tandem axle system is that it greatly reduces your compaction, whilst minimising ground disturbance. It creates a smoother ride for operator and machine, which reduces operator fatigue, and machine wear and tear (not obtainable in a walking beam system). The discharge auger can be fit to the left hand or right hand side. This option can be added to any Grain King Bin and is an extremely worthwhile investment, as the chaser bin is usually the first to any fires. The hose reel is mounted behind the wheel, removing the risk of the hose being run over should it be left on the ground. Petrol or hydraulic fire fighter options available

As standard we use earthmoving loader type tyres. This is Trufab’s latest development to meet the needs of those practicing controlled traffic farming. It consists of an 2m wide conveyer belt mounted on top of the bin, which rolls out the side therefore extending the reach of the auger by 2.7m and delivering the grain onto a levelling auger in the centre of the bin. The Tramline top is retro-fitable to any Grain King Chaser Bin, Dual Bin, and Seed Super Bins Powered by a hydro drive and a hydro sweep. Requires two sets of remotes. Easily removed for seeding time.
