 Bali Mandara Toll Road  The Fivelements

 Bali Mandara Toll Road or Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa Toll Road is a tolled causeway bridge stretch across the Gulf of Benoa 12.7 km in length.  The Rp 2.48 Trillion (USD 220 million) highway connect the city of Denpasar and South Kuta, Badung Regency also the Ngurah Rai International Airport.  The reason behind construction of Bali Mandara Toll Road was to prevent traffic jams on the Ngurah Rai By Pass Road, previously the only road connecting areas of Bali south of the airport with areas north of the airport.  The Ngurah Rai By Pass Road, a land-based route, could not be widened because the right-of-way was already occupied by the Ngurah Rai International Airport's runway. Consequently, the Bali Mandara Toll Road was built over water.  This toll road was officially opened on 23 September 2013 by President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono

 KECAK DANCE The Kecak dance is a Balinese version of the Ramayana epos, a ballet of which can be witnessed at Prambanan. There is no orchestra, the accompaniment being made by male voices a.o. singing 'kecak-kecak- kecak....'. In this version the son of the evil king Rahwana shoots a magic arrow which encircles Rama and Laksamana; the snake is represented by the singers lying down in a circle. The good brothers are rescued by the bird Garuda who eats the snake.  TRANCE BALINESE DANCE  KECAK FIRE DANCE

 KECAK DANCE  TRANCE BALINESE DANCE The Sanghyang Dedari dance features two virgin dancers who are entranced by a divine spirit entering them. Their eyes are closed during the whole dance, at the end of which they fall to the ground and are brought out of trance by a priest.  KECAK FIRE DANCE

 KECAK DANCE  TRANCE BALINESE DANCE  KECAK FIRE DANCE In Sanghyang Jaran or Fire dance a male dancer disguised as a horse dances around a fire and even on the glowing coals. This was quite spectacular finale of the evening; spectators sitting in front retreated from the heat of the fire.
