QENO is a partnership between UNCW, funders, civic leaders and other community organizations to help build the capacity of nonprofit organizations and increase philanthropy in southeastern North Carolina. Locate resources to support workshops & training on topics of interest to nonprofits Host networking events Connect potential board members to nonprofit boards Connect expert consultants with nonprofits who desire their help Our Mission What We Do

In 2009: 77 local nonprofit leaders attended “Achieving in Tough Times,” a QENO conference led by internationally known nonprofit management expert Hal Williams. 75 nonprofit representatives attended one of six QENO board governance training sessions Workshops: Social Networking rating 4.7; (5 = Excellent) Reaching & Surpassing Goals Through Strategic Planning rating 4.8; Leadership Institute 4.96 Since June 2009, nonprofit executive directors have attended Roundtables, representing 60 organizations: participation has doubled to an average of 30 O UR R ESULTS
