Psalm 119 The Joy of God’s Word

Psalm 119 The longest chapter in the Bible. Is devoted entirely to professing the greatness of God’s word. All but four of the 176 verses make some allusion to the word of God. God Himself is mentioned in some way in every verse.

Psalm 119 A great piece of Hebrew poetry. Composed of 22 stanzas containing 8 verses each. Each stanza is represented by one letter of the Hebrew alphabet. This fact is indicated in many Bibles.
