Righteousness – a term that refers to the perfect fulfillment of God’s legal, ethical and moral standard. The opposite of lawlessness.
It’s not about you being right.
“…not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.” Phil 3:9
Something is wrong, if you do not hunger and thirst for His righteousness.
“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” Psalm 42:1-2
“Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8
