Active Thirst Web Quest Project Tutorial

How Do You One-up the Competition? What is it that makes Gatorade dominate the Active Thirst Market? This web quest is designed to give you a hands on application of the 4 phases of the Marketing Mix

Step 1 Click on the Task and Process tab to get started and view the project directions. A hard copy will be provided to each group.

Step 2 Now that we have covered the project directions, please click on the Gatorade Tab. This is where you will begin your market competitor research and complete your notes.

Step 3 After reviewing Gatorade, you will move on to the PowerAde Tab and continue your research as shown below.

Step 4 Once you have finished PowerAde, you will move on to the Market-Share Resource Tab. Here you should examine the share of the competitors and look for noticeable trends among the competitors.

Step 5 Now you will begin to make your own team decisions in designing your sports drink. All requirements are listed on the project handout (Task and Process Tab). Additionally, be sure to view the Evaluation Rubric Tab for scoring requirements.

Step 6 When your project is finished, you must complete and submit the final project reflection page located on the Reflection Tab. We will complete this step on the day that each team presents their project.

LETS GET STARTED!! Now you are ready to begin your web quest and project! Timeline: You will have 4-5 class periods to complete the project in its entirety. Take your time…Have fun…And BE CREATIVE!! Questions??
