The Vision  Establish Rees E. Price Academy as the premier neighborhood school through:  Community and Family Involvement  Staff Commitment  Leadership  Leverage the strengths of all stakeholders for the benefit of our students

Our Mission  Create an environment which allows and encourages students to envision themselves as successful through positive role models. Specifically, we will:  Instill a thirst for knowledge;  Promote a commitment to excellence;  Be a professional cadre of educators who model the way for our students.

Our Purpose  To instill in each student the self-discipline that upholds our principles:  We Are Respectful  We Are Responsible  We Are Safe  We Live These Principles Everyday  Serve the community by developing responsible students who are: positive and self confident and prepared for continued education and for life’s challenges.

Stakeholder Communications Students  Purpose  Instill a thirst for knowledge  Message  “I Believe in Me!” Campaign  Identify positive attributes they want to adopt  Select a role model and look to teachers for inspiration  Method  Develop a simplified ‘30-second’ commercial for students; i.e. promote ‘thirst for knowledge’ as the phrase of the week for students.  Mission Mondays: announcements highlights positive activities  Post strengths of each teacher in their assigned classroom to help students identify attributes they want to adopt.
