Funded for 5 years by the European Commission (until Feb. 2011) A Network of Excellence aimed at encouraging integration of effort in taxonomy across EU institutions. Has several ‘Workpackages’ – one is building IT tools for taxonomists (WP5) – another is examining how to bring revisionary taxonomy to the web (WP6) European Distributed Institute of Taxonomy (EDIT)
