Valentina Puerta 72

Introduction Hi my name is Valentina Puerta during this power point i am going to show you the results of a 5 meters egg drop and share the information i got with you, hope you learn and enjoy it

Table Of Contents Observations Hipothesis Materials Sketch Procedure Results Conclution

Obesrvations The egg surfacese is very dalicate Newspaper is a grate protector Styrofome is a soft surface Foam is very absorbant material Plastic bags are very light Foam is very light Styrofoam is very light Newspaper is very light All this materials togather make the imapact reduce

Question Will the egg survive from a 5 metres drop?

Hipothesis My hipothesis is that the egg will brake because the surface of it is very delicate and it would recive a very hard impact that the egg would not resist,so it will brake.

Materials Styrofoam balls Foam 2 plastic bags News paper

Sketch Pink=foam Brown= styrofoam balls black=bags Gray=newspaper

Procedure First take the egg Second wrap it in news paper Thier put it in a plastic bag and close it Forth take antother plastic bag fifth put styrofoam and foam in it sixth put the bag whith the egg, inside the other bag seventh put more styrofoam and foam eight make a knot to the bag Ninth Drop it from a 5 meters tall

Results The firs time i did it it didnt broke i drop it and when it touch the ground the bag open The second time i drop it and it brake, when it touch the ground the bag didnt open I think this happen beacuse the first time i drop it and it touch the ground the bag opened so the egg didnt recive the impact just the bag and the styrofoam also it let out the energy of the impact.the secon time the bag didnt open so all the tings inside recybe the impact and including the egg.

Conclution There was not a exact answer because one time it didnt work and the other worked This happen bucause the first time the bag oppen so it let go the energy of the impact and the second time it didnt open so everything recive the impact incuding the egg,so there wasnt a exact result. Thanks for heraring,my presentation hope you learnd and enjoy it
