1. How are dishes different in relation to climate? There are many types of different dishes. According to the climate zone where people are, they eat different dishes. Below we will analyze the types of foods used in dishes at all climate zones.

Polar zone  In polar zone there is large consumption of different types of fish and seafood. They also eat a small amount of rabbits & reindeer.

Temperate zone  In the temperate zone the climate is very favourable and because of this people eat everything. Vegetables, fruits, seafood, meat, pasta, legumes etc.

Tropical zone  There is a variety of tropical trees and plants which are specifically native to the tropics and also produce food such as fruits and beverages such us coffee and cocoa.

2.Do people cook according to the weather conditions of their region? Each region has different climatic conditions and for this reason people cook according to the weather.

a. Example  For example in Kozani, in winter, the temperature is below zero. There, people make hot or spicy dishes to satisfy their energy needs.

b. Example  An other example is that in Brazil, in winter, the temperature is over +20. People make dishes that are more light.
