You are at a jewelry shop in Qatar, you see gem stones and pearls on the necklaces and you wonder “How do people get pearls?” “When did it start?” “How did it improve?” it is now time to find out in PEARL DIVING IN QATAR.

 Pearl diving is an activity that men used to do to get money.  It involved traveling for months and months. People would get ropes and tie them to the ship and then tie them to their bodies and dive to look for pearls in the They would collect pearls to sell them or trade the pearls with other things, like food clothing's and other needs.

Pearl diving The first pearl trade was in 1887 and in the year 2000 Qatar started to mine and discover their oil and started trading with other countries like India and New Zeeland.

 In the past pearl diving was important because without pearl diving in the past people in Qatar wouldn't have had food and clothe and all their other needs so they needed pearls to sell them and trade them to provide their needs.

 People realized pearl diving was really dangoures so they had to change the way they did it and now instead of using their bodies, in 1620 a Dutchman called Cornelius Jacobszoon Drebbel invented a machine called a submarine. A submarine is a watercraft capable of independent operation underwater.

 This company is one of Qatar's biggest companies for oil and gas it is called QATARGAS.  Qatar gas provides Qatar's need,it is the company that is responsible for trading the oil.

 Pearl diving changed because the way they used to do it was very complicated and hard and they use to raise a very little amount of money in one year so Qatar decided to start trading the oil that they have and also sell it,as I said before the company QATARGAS is responsible for selling and trading the oil.

 In the past they used their bodies now they use a machine called the submarine.  The first submarine was invented in  Cornelius Jacobszoon Drebbel was the inventor of the first submarine. He invented it in the service of James I of England, Cornelius Jacobszoon Drebbel is a Dutchman from Dutch.
