Conductors An Electrical Conductor is a material in which charges can move easily Conductors conduct electrical current very easily because of their free electrons. Copper is considered to be a conductor, because it conducts the electron current or flow, of electrons fairly easily

Insulators An Electrical Insulator is a material in which charges cannot move easily The electrons are tightly held in the atoms of the insulator These electrons are not free to roam around and be shared by neighboring atoms.

Examples Insulators Plastic Wood Rubber Air Glass Conductors Copper Aluminum Mercury Metallic Items

Test Questions Insulators Define, What are Insulators? Answer- A material in which charges cannot move easily. Name three Insulators Answer- Plastic, Wood and Rubber. What is a Common Insulator?
