Salesbury School Summer Fair 2011 Raffle prize Winners Mrs Smallshaw, Mrs J. Rothwell, Mrs E. Pearse, Mr R. Mills, Michelle, Mrs Lowrie, Mrs C. Eastwood, Mrs Shamin, Julie, Mrs S. Kearvell, Mrs Donaldson, Mrs J. Davies, Mr Butteheld, Mr C. Wallis, Mrs O’Mahoney, Mrs S. Worden, Mrs Murphy, Mrs mallaby, Mrs McGarvey, Mrs J. Harris, Fred and a few anonymous winners The FOSS Salesbury School Summer Fair followed on from the Rose Queen event at St Peter’s Church. We were lucky to have a dry afternoon after the gloomy forecast and the fair was a great success. This year we raised £2215 for the school FOSS would like to thank all parents, staff, grandparents, friends and pupils for the bottles and teddies. We would also like to thank the generous donations of raffle prizes which are detailed on the next page. Many thanks to FOSS Committee members, staff and parent volunteers who gave up their time to help with planning, setting up, manning stalls or clearing up. Thanks also to all the Yr 6 pupils who ran Games stalls and generally helped out on the day. Additional thanks to the PCC who arranged the church run stalls, the Mother’s Union who helped with Cakes and Refreshments, Claire Harding’s jam stall and volunteers who ran the Sunday School and Beavers stalls. Well done to Jacob Corvill who got all the clues for the Treasure Hunt andwon a box of chocolates Special thanks to  Clitheroe Town Band  Salesbury School Choir  Danceworld Cheerleaders  Parkview Landscapes for Plant stall  Beeches Butchers for the meat  Clayton Park Bakery for the buns If you enjoyed the summer fair and would like to help next year than please leave your contact details with the school office and we will contact you before next year’s fair. We would especially like to encourage Yr 5/6 children to plan and run a games stall (jointly or individually) and see how much they can raise for our school.
