Airplanes By Nick McDonald

When were airplanes invented? Airplanes were invented in 1903 by the Wright brothers.

What is a sonic boom? A sonic boom is a sound like thunder that is made by a object moving faster than 770 mph. When a airplane goes faster than the speed of sound(770 mph) it creates something called a sound barrier. A sound barrier is something that keeps sound from getting in front of the object

What are different types of planes? There are many different types of planes like biplanes, 20 th Century Sky king, Abaris Golden Arrow, Uav(Unmanned Ariel vehicle)787 Dreamliner, and the Nakajima AN 1.

What is the worlds biggest plane? The biggest plane ever had a wingspan of 291ft and 2 in.

Why do airplanes crash? Airplanes planes crash because of different things like weather, a mechanical error, or a pilots error.

The fastest airplane in the world Which one of these is the fastest airplane in the world. A.NASA X 43 B. The Blackbird C. Retro F14 D.SR-71 E.SU 27

THE ANSWER The X-43 is the fastest plane in the world. It reached the speed of 7,000 mph. it was made by NASA.

What is the most popular commercial airplane? The Boeing 787 is the most popular commercial airplane in the world. It may not sound right but it is used across the country and into many other countries like China, Japan, and Germany.

The flying yacht Is this a plane or a boat? Technically it is both. It has a wingspan of 45 ft. It flies 100 miles per hour. This is the first boat that is able to fly.
