TURKISH PETROLEUM COMPANY DATABANK PROJECT PRESENTATION MARCH 2011

* GDPA (General Directorate of Petroleum Affair -PIGEM) is the National Regulatory Authority for the Petroleum and Gas Industry. * In the Country government structure PIGEM works under the Ministry of Energy. * In the name of PIGEM, TPAO holds all collected seismic and well data together with core samples. When requires with instruction of PIGEM it can be delivered to operators. ROLE OF TPAO AT NDR

No need to do with the field bands... MAGNETIC TAPE ARCHIVES (Seismic Raw & Processed Data)

98% of field bands have been converted to SEGY and stored into 3590/3592/SDLT media. The rest is unreadable... MAGNETIC TAPE ARCHIVES (Seismic Raw & Processed Data)

7 Track bands belongs to late 60’s are not readable because of lack of reader. There are are about 40 of these. MAGNETIC TAPE ARCHIVES (Seismic Raw & Processed Data)
