Cost savings… 1 computer = 2.5 KW/h units of electricity per day… Without power management: units of electricity per day -£127,750 per year! The average utilisation: -public service computer = 20% -staff computer = 23%... With PAWS power management in place: A total potential saving of £100,000 per year for 1750 computers at just Aberystwyth University!
