Coordination with donors 2/ Definition of Market Surveillance (765, art. 2, p.35) “Shall mean the activities carried out and measures taken by public authorities to ensure that products comply with the requirements set out in the relevant Community harmonisation legislation and do not endanger health, safety or any other aspect of public interest protection.”

Coordination with donors 2/ General Product Safety Directive Applies to both harmonized and non-harmonized area In the harmonized area, this refers to technical legislation of New Approach, Old Approach together with NLF (764, 765, 768) and GPSD GPSD could be seen in the harmonized area as a “safety net”
