About Association for quality and standardization of Serbia  Association for Quality and Standardization-Serbia was established and registered in 2003, as a non-profit and non-governmental organization.  AKS is the organizer scientific conference with motto "QUALITY CONDITIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS AND COMPETITIVENESS„  Co-organizer QUALITY FESTIVAL organized by Center for Quality of Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Kragujevac  Organizer lectures and training for employers and employees

Objecitves  The main objectives of the Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia are:  gathering of individual members (experts), collective members (organizations) in this area to establish centers of Association in all major cities of Serbia to implement knowledge and practice of continuous improvement;;  improvement of standardization, quality and business-based development and implementation knowledge for competitive involvement our economy and society in the international trends;  encouragement of scientific and professional work in the area of standardization and quality management throughout the organization: conferences, forums, seminars and publishing activities, alone or in collaboration with other professional organizations

Main task  The Association performs the following tasks:  initiate and participate in research activities in the field of quality and standardization, aiming towards building a system of total quality management, to contribute to the development of national standardization in accordance with contemporary international trends and social needs  cooperation in tasks and issues of common interest with relevant institutions of socio-political communities and organizations, scientific and professional organizations, state Quality Council, Serbian Union of Employers, Chambers of Commerce, institutions (for standardization of measures and precious metals, Iintellectual Property Informatics), the relevant inspectorates, as well as other institutions and organizations

Main task  The Association performs the following tasks:  Iinitiation and helps the development System of Education and training of human resources for quality and standardization at all levels and organizes the appropriate types of education of producers and consumers  suggests to the competent bodies proposals for quality improvement and standardization, or participate in drafting legislative and regulations relevant to the quality and standardization  expands professional and scientific knowledge and information sharing, influence the educational, socio- economic, commercial, scientific and technological development of the country.

Conferences  We have organized fifteen scientific professional conferences, and there were educated several thousand people  In 2013th for the first time we have organized a scientific conference with international character, in addition to the usual national conference  Conference participants are recognized domestic and international experts, professors from numerous academic institutions, representatives of the Ministries, directors of companies, representatives of quality management, students, representatives of the Institute for Standardization, consultants, representatives of certification bodies, trade union representatives from Serbia etc
