10 ãÍãkáÂáÑ åÌá® çkãÂBáÑ åÕãqå`áÖ Ù áÅåÒáÖ áÉCáÆÛB áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ And I am asking for your protection against the Day when a father will not serve instead of his son,

11 CæNå×áw ãÍãkãÂBáÑ åÌá® èpCá_ áÒâÎ çjåÒâÂåÒáÆ Ù áÑç ä¼ác ãÐäÃÂB ákå®áÑ éÉãB nor will a son be punished instead of his father for anything, since Alláh has promised thus and His promise is true.

12 åÈâÏâWánãmå¯áÆ áÌå×ãÇãÂCé«ÂB â°á·åËáÖ Ù áÅåÒáÖ áÉCáÆÛB áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ And I am asking for your protection against the Day when apologizing of the wrongdoers will not do them any good,

13 ãnBékÂB âAåÒâs åÈâÏá áÑ âUáËå¯éÃÂB åÈâÏá áÑ and because of that they will be cursed and will be put in the evil abode (of Jahannam).

14 CæNå×áw èuå·áËã çuå·áÊ âÀãÃåÇáW Ù áÅåÒáÖ áÉCáÆÛB áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ And I am asking for your protection against the Day when nobody will have control over anybody,

15 ãÐäÃã èmãNáÆåÒáÖ âoåÆÛB áÑ and the power will belong to Alláh (alone) that Day.

16 ãÐå×ãgáB åÌãÆ âAåoáÇåÂB êoã·áÖ áÅåÒáÖ áÉCáÆÛB áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ ãÐå×ãQáB áÑ ãÐëÆâB áÑ And I am asking for your protection against the Day when a person will run away from his brother, his mother, his father,

18 ãÐå×ãËå³âÖ çÉåCáw èmãNáÆåÒáÖ åÈâÏåËãÆ èLãoåÆB ëÄâ¿ã That Day every person will have what he has earned for himself.

19 âÅãoå`âÇåÂB êjáÒáÖ áÅåÒáÖ áÉCáÆÛB áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ ãÐå×ãËáRãQ èmãNáÆåÒáÖ ãPBámá® åÌãÆ åÕãkáXå·áÖ åÒá And I am asking for your protection against the Day when the sinner would wish that he could ransom the wrath of Alláh descending on him at that time with his children,

20 åØãXéÂB ãÐãXáÃå×ã|ᶠáÑ ãÐå×ãgáB áÑ ãÐãXáRãcCá{ áÑ ãÐåÖãÑåKâW his wife, his brother and his relatives who gave him shelter,

21 ãÐå×ã`åËâÖ éÈâ[ Cæ¯å×ãÇá_ ã¡ånÛB åØ㶠åÌáÆ áÑ and all those on earth, so that he be saved.

22 ÓÒéxÃã æUá®BéqáÊ Ôá«á CáÏéÊãB éÚá¾ No, never can he escape (the wrath of Alláh, which will be in the form of) burning fire, roasting him.

23 âkåRá¯åÂB CáÊáB áÑ ÔÂåÒáÇåÂB áYåÊáB áÕÙåÒáÆ CáÖ áÕÙåÒáÆ ÔÂåÒáÇåÂB éÙãB ákåRá¯åÂB âÈácåoáÖ åÄáÎ áÑ My Lord, O my Lord, You are the Master and I am the slave, and who else can be merciful to the slave except the Master?
