SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPECIAL DAY

On October 29th the status of our nation was declared as “Republic” and the name of it was announced as “the Republic of Turkey” by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Since that time we celebrate the October 29th as Republic Day in Turkey every year.

We have celebrated the 90th anniversary of the proclamation of Turkish republic this year. We also had a celebration at our school.
