3/20/20144 What do employers and other stakeholders look for ? “…in the future there will be a range of providers post-16…each of those providers really needs to specialise and excel in providing and doing what they do well… The sort of world in the past where one college tried to provide everything for everybody, for all people, has probably been overtaken now.” (Head teacher) “…what you find sometimes is younger people come to you and they’ve not got business skills. They might be equipped and have a degree in whatever they’ve got a degree in, but they’re not very business savvy, commercially savvy…" (Employer) “So locally-based providers should be preparing the people of Bolton to stay here, work here and we would really benefit in this town from young people with enthusiasm on the entrepreneurial scale...” (Stakeholder)
