Environment and Security in South Eastern Europe: Improving regional cooperation for risk management from pollution hotspots as well as the transboundary management of shared natural resources  To reduce trans-boundary environmental and human safety risks posed by sub-standard mining operations in the SEE region  To encourage regional co-operation for trans- boundary mountain protected areas in SEE Overall Project Objective Project:
