What to expect in VT time... – a) A Prayer to start the day – b) Equipment and Uniform check EVERY MORNING – c) a short task that you need to work on as individuals or groups (see house timetables – click on the colour below) – d) Information about any events or changes taking place in school that day. It is ESSENTIAL you arrive in school on time EVERY DAY. Your punctuality is logged every day and can affect college or job applications, or could affect you attendance on school reward trips. You would also miss out on any information given out during VT time.

Next

Each tutor group will have an A3 Scrap Book (to replace exercise books) to share and document all the hard work, success and fun times you have had over the year as a group. You will personalise this, and make sure that it represents who you are as a group, and as individuals! There will be rewards given for the tutor groups that have the best scrap books throughout the year!

The day to day procedures are the things pupils are expected to do every day. They can be grouped into – – Before school – Registration / VT – Entry and exit from lessons – Break-time – Lunch-time – Fire drill

Organise the form into groups of 4-5 (containing pupils from different year groups) As a group try to remember as many of the day to day procedures as you can. When 5 minutes are up, each member must give one of these pieces of information to the rest of the form. You have 5 minutes to do this. CATEGORIES – Before school – Registration / VT – Lesson changeover – Entry and exit from lessons – Break-time – Dinner-time – Fire drill – Wet Lunch – ANSWERS ON THE NEXT SLIDES...
