Architecture Governance: Conceptually it is an approach, a set of processes, and a set of owned responsibilities that ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the organization’s architecture.  Addresses the governance roles and processes required for maintaining Enterprise Architecture.  Provides framework and structure that links IT (Information Technology) resources to Business goals.  Introduces good business practice:  For planning, acquiring, implementing, and monitoring IT performance.  Ensures that the enterprise’s Information Technology assets support its business objectives. Architecture Governance is a board level responsibility (Executives, Sr. Manager)
