2 Outline Last Week Current Week Calibration Program

3 Last Week Fixed timing issue with program to send DCC signals based of the voltage reading from the photocell –Enabled/Disabled A/D interrupt –Allowed correct timing of the DCC signal Mounted remaining two photocells in the webtrain layout –All four sensors are appropriate places –Need for a calibration program for sensors

4 Current Week Code Calibration Program –Set voltage thresholds for specific sensor –Integrate with Main program Begin Automatic Decoupling –Use Calibration program –Program in stages

5 Timeline

6 Calibration Progam Program will calibrate the voltage thresholds for each of the four sensors Make use of keypad to set sensor and state Another function to test sensors Voltage thresholds will be based upon ambient lighting conditions

7 Calibration Program How will the program work? –Hook up several train cars –Set the sensor –Roll car over sensor –Press button that corresponds to the state –Do this several times with different cars –Program will decided max/min limits –Add some offset to limits

8 Calibration Program My use of the keypad for the program –Numbers 1,2,3,4 for different sensors –Letters A,B,C for threshold states –Letter E for testing purposes –Letter F to finalize sensor values
