Have you ever wanted to share the gospel with someone but didn’t? Why?

Common fears 1. Rejection 2. Don’t know enough 3. Don’t know how to start 4. Don’t like to Argue 5. Persecution

If you’ve ever been afraid to share … you are in good company ! “I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” -- 1 Corinthians 2:3-5

NOT “Winning someone to Christ” Success is NOT “Winning someone to Christ”

Success Living Sharing Trusting in sharing my faith is: Living out the Christian life Sharing the gospel Trusting God for the results

“I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.” --Apostle Paul Philemon 6

Five Questions to Determine Where God is Working 5 Five Questions to Determine Where God is Working Do you have any kind of spiritual belief? To you, who is Jesus? Do you think there is a heaven and a hell? If you died right now, where would you go? If what you believe were not true, would you want to know it?

Just one more Question Has anyone ever taken a Bible and shown you how you can know for sure you are going to heaven?

Principles for Using the Bible Hearing “Read the verse out loud.” “Faith comes from hearing the message…” Romans 10:17 Question “What does this say to you? Jesus asked, “How do you read it?” Luke 10:26

REMEMBER The lost person will be doing the reading out loud. The lost person will be doing the talking. The Holy Spirit will be doing the convincing. God’s Word will bring conviction. How can they argue with God?

Tip: Learn only 1 verse! Remember the first verse At the top of the page write the reference for the next verse Write it upside down so you can read it when showing your Bible to your friend

Let the Bible Speak Romans 3: 23 Romans 5:8 Romans 6:23 Romans 10:9-10

Five Questions That Lead to a Point of Decision 5 Five Questions That Lead to a Point of Decision Do you believe you are a sinner? Do you want to be forgiven for all your sins? Do you believe Jesus died on the cross to pay the death penalty for your sin and rose again? Do you want to put your trust in Jesus alone to be forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life? Is there anything keeping you from trusting Jesus right now? (Be silent …pray.)

Just one more Question Would you like to join me in prayer and tell God what you just told me?

Dear Father in Heaven, I have sinned against you. I want to be forgiven for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin and rose again to give me life. I am calling on you in Jesus name to save me from my sin and to help me live a new life. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Remember: Whenever I feel afraid ... ASK QUESTIONS !
