Demonstration of the use of browser extensions in Mozilla to link from a Google Scholar item to a European Library object

Normal response form Google Scholar

OpenURL link added to to Google Scholar response European Library search added to to Google Scholar response Response from Google Scholar with browser extension

After a “mouse over” this object is searched for automatically

When found the link is changed to get the object from this library

And here is the result when clicking on the “get it” link

Move mouse over another link

When it is NOT found the link remains an OpenURL link Response of the user’s OpenURL server when clicking the link
