What’s New in Cycle 7 Summary (Section 1.5 of CfP) Spitzer Joint Time: 110 hours Spitzer time allocated by Chandra review (400 ksec Chandra time to Spitzer review) Pitch Angle Restrictions: Restriction due to EPHIN → ° New restriction, pitch angle > 168° to avoid frozen fuel lines (already being put in place for Cycle 6) Proposals: PDF files only Electronic distribution to reviewers (on CDRom), hardcopies on request only Target Specifications: emphasizing that all specifications should be explicitly entered on RPS form TOO Specification: expanded to allow follow-ups to explicitly include a different instrument (previously link had to be made manually by the CXC) Time-constrained fraction: has been reduced to 15% of targets

User Interface Changes  Contact Scientists: have been removed as an option  User Interface (USINT): self-serve users now include: –experienced PIs with unconstrained observations –CXC and GTO PIs –Help/USINT assignment is available on request.
