Our Indigenous Voice They took your soul and voice, your right to self-expression, dignity and personhood. They stole my skin, my language, my village, my true spiritual connection, and with it my culture. They took our dignity, our identity, our personhood. They did not take my voice and indigenous soul. I will return to the teachings, Our voice and indignation will be heard. I, we, are Ojibwa.

Social, Psychological, & Spiritual Anchoring Involves exposing youth to, and immersing them in: –Healthy relationships –Experiences –Opportunities

The 40 Developmental Assets Two Types of Assets –External: Support, Empowerment, Boundaries & Expectations, Constructive Use of Time Relationships, experiences and opportunities that young people experience in their families, schools, and communities -Internal: Commitment to Learning, Positive Values, Social Competencies, & Positive Identity -Functionally valued behaviors and choices
