Final Thoughts Interpersonal Communiation is about choice. Some of the choices include but are not limited to the decision to self- disclose or not; to listen actively or simply «hear» the messge; to avoid a conflict at any cost or to participate in a constructive conflict; to be emphatic, open, and honest with others or not. This course is about increasing understanding of all the choices that are available AND increasing the ability to refine old behaviors to become more successful communicators. Do you control your communication or do your communication patterns control you?
