Everybody in some way uses water everyday. Whether they drink it, bath or clean with it, or maybe cook with it. Some people use very little some way to much. Were going to try and tell how to use just the perfect amount.

Some of the ways we can reduce the use of water are 1)Install Low Flow toilets in our houses- Because you can save Money, Hydro and other things to help out with the environment. 1)Make sure we shut of taps and get water efficient taps and shower heads 1)Attend recreation opportunities on local lakes and rivers, and learn about the wildlife they support. It will help you understand what we could happen if we don’t manage our water.

In a 4 person household the average amount of water is 400 gallons which equals litres a day. Per a year each person uses 32,120 gallons and litres a year.

Tightly turn off taps when your done using them. Turn off taps while brushing teeth. Put water the fridge rather than running water to get it cold. Don’t run water just to get it to a certain temperature.

We should conserve water because we are taking fresh water from our ecosystems when we could use salt water for toilets because we don’t need to waste fresh water for something that we can use salt water for
