 West Michigan TEAM is a nonprofit organization pioneering breakthrough approaches to workforce development.  We work across sectors to improve the lives of workers, increase the success of businesses, and optimize the effectiveness of government.  We bring together private, public and nonprofit organizations to strengthen local economies throughout the region.  Through a unique, proven Tri-sector Employment & Advancement Model (TEAM), we create vibrant local networks that benefit employees and employers.

Return on Investment  Prevent the cost of turnover  Improve the return on training dollars spent  Public Sector dollars leveraged on behalf of employees  Increase employee engagement, efficiency and productivity

Competitive Advantage  Ability to recruit and retain from a larger pool of candidates when the labor market tightens up  Access to dollars through strategic Public/Private partnerships  Consortium controls the programs, measures of success and outcomes  Ability to be proactive in human capital development instead of reactive, build awareness for employers to connection

TEAM delivers distinct value in three ways. We provide: New connections for small and midsize companies—helping them participate in local workforce resource networks as well as government-funded workforce development programs. Expanded reach for public and nonprofit agencies—helping them efficiently engage and effectively serve more workforce members. Easy access to opportunities for lower-wage employees—helping them access on-the-job supports and advance through training and education programs.
