GOALS To promote and to facilitate the implementation of the State Health Care Policy and Health Reforms in the Public Health Sector, aimed to improve the access and quality of care in Demonopolized Health Care System

OBJECTIVES   creation of “critical mass” of health care managers with abilities and commitment to refuse the “low intense administration mode” (Guillermo O’Donnell)   analysis and exchange of experience in management of health care facilities with different sources and methods of financing   training and re-training of acting health administrators, who are able to make effective decisions, based on learned knowledge and professional skills for implementation of administrative, financial, economic and other changes, directed towards the improvement of health care system   improving of managerial skills and qualities in the environment of demonopolized and decentralized structure of health care institutions

WHO SHOULD APPLY ? The SHCMA welcomes applications from experienced health care professionals who need to enhance their knowledge base and skills in order to effectively manage their organizations. Middle level administrators desiring to obtain more senior responsibilities are also welcomed along with physicians and other professionals either seeking to enter or presently holding managerial positions and those with little management experience, desiring to obtain knowledge and experience in health care administration career

CREDIT SYSTEM BASED HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION COURSE To receive a certificate it is necessary to obtain at least 108 credits out of 120 (8 week educational program) along with written project presentation and passing of the final test.

THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE ALSO CONSIDERED AS CREDITS : Earning at least 120 credits from certificate program and/or any other credited activities leads to eligibility to applying for a professional license.
