© The Integrated Assessment Society What is TIAS? TIAS was founded in October 2003 The society’s goal is to promote the community of inter-disciplinary and disciplinary scientists, analysts and practitioners who develop and use Integrated Assessment (IA). The Society strives to nurture this community, to promote the development of IA and to encourage its wise application.

© The Integrated Assessment Society What is Integrated Assessment? What is Integrated Assessment? TIAS defines IA as the scientific "meta-discipline" that integrates knowledge about a problem domain and makes it available for societal learning and decision making processes.

© The Integrated Assessment Society What is IA used for? IA for managing: Environmental Impact Environmental Impact Risk Risk Complexity Complexity Uncertainty Uncertainty Climate Change Climate Change Institutional Change Institutional Change Sustainability Sustainability and more…. and more….

© The Integrated Assessment Society What Methods are used in IA? What Methods are used in IA?
