Closing The Gap Interoperability between SL & the Web

My job It is my job to develop & deliver library services in my user’s workflow

I let them decide WHAT workflow

I am sure about nothing, but am expecting anything

We might end up with numerous different environments and types of workflow

But hey, guess what ….

That’s exactly what we have been offering them for decades ….

Numerous different (search) interfaces with peculiar specifics ….

We are used coping with that, … only this time …..

THEY choose

Now WE have the opportunity to create format agnostic & platform independant services

We were way TOO late in recognizing and responding to new technologies i.e. Web 2.0
