In detail, the joint development activity comprises the following: Establish a relationship to coordinate NGN activities Develop mutually beneficial, standards-based interfaces to enable interoperability between each others products Set up a joint laboratory to validate end-to-end NGN solutions with … - sufficient Quality of Service (QoS) - sufficient network reliability - sufficient network scalability - an efficient usage of network resources - an easy network operation … and demonstrate them to customers (within the “Proof-of-concept lab” in Munich, Germany – ready for customer visits !!! ) Establish a de facto QoS standard for resilient IP networks (“RESIP”).
