Signing Up For a Wordpress User Name Note: these steps and screen shots were taken while using a Mac. While Macs are still different from PCs, the steps and buttons used in WordPress are exactly the same on both platforms.

Click Here to Create your Username.

Choose a Username that you would like. (note: the Username you want may already be take)

Type in your address

Make sure this box is checked

You can choose here if you want to have a Blog or not (You can choose to have one later on if you like) Click Next when you are done

Check your inbox for the address that you provided earlier You can update your Profile while you wait for you to come (it may take a few minutes for the from Wordpress to come)

Go to your Inbox and open the from WordPress.com

Click on the provided link in the WordPress . (If it doesn’t work, copy and paste the link into your browser)

Here will be your username. It will also be your login name.

Highlight your new password. Then copy it using Ctrl+C. Or just memorize it. (You will be able to change your password after you login for the first time)

Click “Login” to go to the Login screen where you will need to type in your username and password.
