What’s the story... The history of WorkBook begins in 1991 when Niels Heimburger, founder of WorkBook, was employed at Heimburger Advertising. The company was looking for a software system that could fit their business workflow. There was at that time only financial systems available and none of them where really workflow systems. The system that they were looking for should be easy to use, in prior to not taking up to much time on administration from project management and production. After short time and a lot of effort in investigating the marked, they decided to build their own system. This was the birth of the first WorkBook.
