Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration Department of Geomatics, The University of Melbourne Cadastral Template Project Cadastral Template website is currently maintained and run by the Centre for SDIs and Land Administration, the University of Melbourne. So far, 35 country reports on cadastral systems are uploaded to this website. The website will be maintained and updated on a continuous basis until 2006 under other funding arrangements and is thus available for permanent consultation. For easier visualisation, statistical data are also presented in graphical charts.

CRC-SI Project 3.1 Concepts and Principles for Virtual Australia Developing a Virtual Australia by uniting research and commercial innovation in spatial information technologies

The main aim of this project is to develop a preliminary set of concepts, functions and principles to facilitate the development of Virtual Australia based on CRC vision. As part of the first year of the project, a review and analysis of current SI and SDI initiatives is being undertaken, including related developments in selected jurisdictions (VIC, NSW, WA) and at national level. The research outcomes of this project will provide a foundation for identifying best practice and key performance indicators to aid in the integration of jurisdictions to facilitate the development of Virtual Australia.
