Presentation transcript:

Today, the preservation of our environment is a more and more important “concept”. Everyone is concerned by this matter! We all, manufacturers and distributors, have to be involved in this approach. Recycled products are already present in stationary business (in most office supplier catalogue and stores in the paper section) and become more and more strategic. PILOT has always been a precursor in writing instruments, and wants to be the first one to have a full recycled range of products in the North American market. Why introducing a Green Range?

Consumers are more and more sensitive to manufacturer behavior concerning environment 75.1% don’t want to buy products from a “non-citizen” company 66.7% consider that environment respect is compatible with profits development for companies 58.3% buy products which respect environment and preserve the earth Consumer interest Source: SIMM - SECODIP

PILOT has understood this importance for consumers Introduction of environmental products in your catalogue Citizen behavior: Purchase of electricity from renewable energies (Figaro 01/06/05) Message with current office supply retailers: “ PILOT wants to go this way in the writing instrument market “. The Begreen Line & the environment

“ Green” spirit is, for a long time, a PILOT way of thinking: –Pilot has always created refillable products –All our factories in Japan are ISO 14001, our French factory will be ISO by beginning of Eg: to supply Japanese administrations, only green products are accepted Why a Green Range for PILOT?

How to set up this Green Range at PILOT? OBJECTIVES: To fulfill your Key Accounts requests. To generate additional sales by taking market shares. To motivate and educate consumers to the interest of Recycle products and Environmental matters. To encourage all your customers to buy recycled products. To communicate that PILOT in partnership with all office suppliers is the pioneer in introducing the 1st complete range of green pens
