Mission SUST provides educational programs in applied knowledge in the fields of Basic, Engineering and Medical sciences, humanities and natural resources, and keeps pace with modern programs. SUST produces a great deal of original scientific research of applied nature that leads to sustained development and the ability to cope with new technology, thus leading to the emergence of prominent and distinguished scientists of high calibre and international reputation. SUST accomplishes its share in the scientific, technological and industrial development and public services in SUDAN, thus serving the community.
SUST: Historical Background The history of Sudan University of Science & Technology dates back to 1950 with the establishment of Khartoum technical institute (KIT). In 1975 KIT was renamed Khartoum polytechnic (KP) which embraced than all technical institutes in Sudan In 1990 KP was upgraded to Sudan University of Science & Technology (SUST).
