Pass Rates in Paired and Unpaired Courses Fall 1998 Office of Institutional Research LaGuardia Community College

Overall Pass Rates Fall 1998 On average in 37 courses offered in Fall 1998, students in paired sections passed 79% of the time, compared to a 73% pass rate in unpaired sections of the same courses.

College-Level Courses Fall 1998 Pass rates were higher in 16 out of 24 college-level courses in which both formats were offered.

Basic Skills Courses Fall 1998 Pass rates were higher in 7 out of 11 basic skills courses in which both formats were offered.
