Business Process Review Intend to review business processes with view to identify areas : that can be re-designed to be more effective where we could benefit from up-take of S1 functionality that we currently do not use that could be improved with the use of new Alerts
Roles & Workplaces Ideal timing for review: Current menus in Student Services represent historical approaches to roles from original implementation Significant changes needed as result of changes to team structures Student self management has changed focus of many processes
Current Project Status Actual project has not started! However 2 staff have CI Certification Roles & workplaces training on 20 October Budget yet to be submitted (1 st draft knocked back – level of resourcing was not supported) Teresa invited to meet with Directors (Finance, Student Services, IT) to gain their support for Project

Web Services: Curious – but need to be convinced it delivers enough to interest us (versus writing our own) eForms: only interested if entered data can up-date student records Research Grant Mgt: low interest – but could change Alumni Mgt: low interest – future CRM to handle
