 In an increasingly knowledge-based economy it is vital for companies to be able to quickly research patents, trademarks, and designs rights (collectively known as industrial property).  However the current tools to research industrial property databases are very limited, and using the services of specialized companies is expensive, making them inadequate for SMEs. The Innovall project aims at bridging this gap by creating a new service that enables individuals to directly search and analyze industrial property databases via powerful, efficient, and easy-to-use information-retrieval tools.

 The Innovall tool is an industrial property research engine that uses an unique searching method that looks for ideas rather than just for words like other engines.
