 1:40 – 2:30 p.m. & 3:45 – 4:35 p.m.  Volunteers will drop off Transfer students with you.  They will join you for the first Department Tour.  At 2:30 p.m., the transfer students will be picked up by their volunteers at their designated ending points (on the schedule).  Make sure transfers students are not with you after 2:30 p.m.

 11:45 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. (PG)  12:25 – 1:05 p.m. (SG)  Need a Lunch Ticket to get lunch (given at check-in for visitors)  Visitors Cannot Buy Lunch  Pick it up at the Lunch Distribution Room (on Schedule)  Follow Trafficking Signs (Enter/Exit)  Eat in the Lunch Room  Talk and have fun with your group  Lunch ◦ Sandwiches ◦ Chips ◦ Pop/Water

 12:25–1:15p.m. (PG)  10:25–11:15a.m. or 11:25a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (SG)  Cell Phone Ringers ON  50 Exhibits ◦ Housing exhibits – Dude ◦ Other exhibits – EECS  Locations on Exhibit Map and Description in Welcome Packet  Runners between the Dude and EECS to make sure you group doesn’t get lost  Allow for a bathroom break  Set a time and place to meet when your session is over (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)  Use your Group # Sign

 The purpose is to allow students to interact with different societies.  Societies: 5 RED raffle tickets each  Students: 5 BLUE raffle tickets each  RED tickets are awarded after the students talk and interact with great interest to the different societies  BLUE tickets are given by student to society that they like  The student that is picked from the raffle wins  The society with the most BLUE tickets win a cash prize

 3:30 – 3:45 p.m.  Drink and Snacks  One per person  Bathroom Break (locations on the map)

 1:25 – 4:35 p.m. (PG)  10:25 – 11:15 a.m. or 11:25 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (SG)  Tell your group you are leaving (PG)  Someone else will take them to their closing sessions  Help visitors take their seats  Leave them your , if they want to ask you more questions

 Sign Up Now if you want to volunteer for panels  Parent Group Leaders ◦ Stay extra in order to do panels (Refer to Schedule)  Student Group Leaders ◦ At Tech Day for the entire time  Answer Questions  Be appropriate

 4:45 – 5:00 p.m.  Before entering the room ◦ Tell students to fill out the feed back survey with the pencils provided (for more raffle prizes) ◦ Write their name clearly on each RED raffle ticket  Raffles will be drawn for students ◦ Winners for both RED tickets and Feedback surveys  Help the student find their seats  Leave them your , if they want to ask you more questions  Stay until the end of the closing session to fill your group leader surveys

 Can be found in your folders  Please Fill the Survey  It allows us to make Tech Day better for coming years  Turn it into 1303 EECS  Sign Out at 1303 EECS

 Keep your comments appropriate  Make sure you know all rooms before Tech Day  Ask us questions ◦ Tech Day HQ: 1303 EECS ◦ (5-2526) or (734) on any phone  Bring a watch and check it a lot  Turn your cell phone on during exhibits and campus tours  During lunch read traffic flow signs  TALK A LOT  Remember You have the power to keep your group ON TIME  Answer Questions

 Group Member Want to leave in the middle of Tech Day ◦ They cant leave!  Group Member Wants to switch groups ◦ Cant switch! (if they persist, send them to registration at Chrysler Center)

 What if you don’t know the answer to a question that needs to be answered immediately? ◦ Call Headquarters for serious issues. ◦ Give if its an academic issue.  What if a group member wants to attend a department tour other than the two he/she is registered for? ◦ They cant! (it’s the same as a switch!)

 Group Member gets lost ◦ Call Tech Day HQ and tell a runner to find the member  Department speaker doesn’t show up ◦ Contact Us and Tech Day HQ ◦ Speak on behalf of the speaker until he/she gets there ◦ Make sure you are on time

 What if you realize that your group is off schedule? ◦ You have authority to make group leave department sessions early.  You get lost ◦ Refer to schedule and training guide first ◦ If that fails, call Tech Day HQ for a runner to help you

 Group Member wants medications ◦ You cannot give or buy them medication (they can buy it at U GO’s themselves)  Group Member is injured ◦ Call Tech Day HQ

 Fire Alarm ◦ Take your group safely out the building ◦ Count the number of people in your group ◦ Contact Us and Tech Day HQ to get building problem solved
