Working for the F.B.I. as a special agent requires intense 18 week training. There are several key requirements to be hired; for example, being a U.S. Citizen, at least 23 years old, passing the physical examinations, etc. As a detective or special agent the job entitles you to protect many aspects of national security.
A trait you need for this job is being able to protect the nation by all means necessary. We need to be prepared to work long hours, at least 40 hour weeks. Need to be able to know how to handle stress.

Jobs in the Law/ Law Enforcement career path are rapidly rising, with more demand for people in this career. Since 9/11, believe it or not, the crime rate in New York City has risen, and gone down, but can still go higher than the nation’s average.
Related occupations for this field of work would be a police officer or anything in local law enforcement. Also you can go into the state law enforcement which is court systems, crime labs, etc. As well as the federal law enforcement which is the F.B.I., Department of Homeland Security, etc. And lastly, you can go into private law enforcement, private detective, security officers, etc.
