Veneer – An Eco Product Veneer production brings out wood's natural growth characteristics and turns wood into a versatile material for many different uses. Veneer production brings out wood's natural growth characteristics and turns wood into a versatile material for many different uses. Maximum exploitation and thus most economic use of this valuable raw material is also ensured by slicing or rotary cutting the valuable wood into thin veneer leaves generally only mm thick. From the Ecological point of view this aspect is of such great importance that this should be explained in greater detail by means of a comparative example. For example let us take an oak log, exactly one cubic meter in size. Approx. 750 sq.mt of usable veneer are produced when sliced into 0.7 mm thick leaves. About 50 bedroom cabinets, veneered on both sides, can be produced from this amount of veneer. However, should this oak log one cubic meter in size be cut into 25 mm thick boards for solid wood furniture production only approx. 30 sq.mt of usable boards will be realized. This is a quantity just sufficient to produce no more than two such bedroom cabinets

Veneer Cuts Veneer is produced in variant thickness. The conventional thickness is 0.6 mm. Flat Sliced True Quarter Cutting Faux Quarter Cutting Rotary Peeling Rift-cut Cutting from the Heart
