How to… Keep your character from leaving the game (never to return)

Create a “wall” sprite Step 1: Go to Resources and click Create Sprite Step 2: Click Edit Sprite and double click the green square preview Step 3: Select the Fill an Area icon in left the toolbar, then select the color black from the color palette on the right Step 4: Click once on the green square and it should now be black

Step 5: Click on the green check mark to get out of the two windows Step 6: change the sprite name to spr_wall and uncheck the Transparent box Step 7: Click OK Step 8: Go to Resources and click Create Object

Step 9: change the name to obj_wall Step 10: Check the Solid box Step 11: Check OK Step 12: Go to Resources and click Create Room Step 13: Add obj_wall as your border by clicking wherever you want it in the room which will block your moving sprites or characters – you can also hold down the Shift button and hold down the left mouse button and drag.
