The Problem: No existing national sample of voters in judicial elections (limited to single-state studies) Little is known about whether partisanship effects voters’ decision making in judicial elections Questions swaps allowed us to ask vote choice questions on 3 CCES modules. Not all respondents lived in states with judicial elections Not everyone votes We observe multiple vote choices per voter in some states. Total n = 456
