Egalitarianism, social capital and foreign aid policies in 22 OECD countries Sajeepan.P and Ole Jonas Nybø

Research Question Does egalitarian countries with high degrees of social capital and low corruption tend to give more foreign aid than countries who scores lower on these variables.

Variables Dependent: Foreign Aid (public budget) Independent: - Social Capital - Egalitarianism - Corruption N = 22 OECD Countries

Hypotheses H1: Countries with populations who have high social capital, will give more foreign aid than countries with lower social capital H2: Egalitarian countries gives more foreign aid than less egalitarian countries H3: A high degree of corruption is inversely related to the size of foreign aid
